Committed to Quality Since 1946
Orscheln Products is the leading global supplier of motion control systems. Our products keep your vehicles running smoothly.
Orscheln works with all types of clients, from OEMs and vehicle manufacturers to business owners or aftermarket customers. After military equipment is decommissioned, many vehicles find new life in commercial, industrial, or even personal environments.
These vehicles still need maintenance or replacement parts from time to time, and that’s where we come in.
How We Help
We design and build control system assemblies for many kinds of defense vehicles. Be it aircraft, utility vehicles, or transportation equipment, Orscheln can help breathe new life into your equipment.
Almost every vehicle depends on mechanical control cables to operate properly. Over time, these cables can begin to wear, decreasing your system performance.
Orscheln can provide new mechanical cables to replace any existing equipment on your vehicle. Our clients can see renewed efficiency and reliability with new control cables.
Park brake cables are a specific kind of control cable that are used in virtually every vehicle with a park brake. These brake cables convert the energy from pulling the park brake into actually activating the brake, so it’s vital to have cables you trust.
If you operate defense equipment and need replacement military vehicle parts, Orscheln can provide you with the exact cables you need for your brake system.
Not sure which cable you need? Use our Build My Park Brake tool to identify the right cable for your needs.
Orscheln builds replacement park brake levers for aftermarket clients! You can order our park brake levers in any of several styles. When you shop with us, you can even customize the exact parameters of your park brake lever.
You can order our levers as individual components, or as pre-assembled park brake units. Reach out to our team to discuss how Orscheln can provide the perfect brake system for your vehicles.
Any motor vehicle uses a series of fluids throughout the engine to help it run efficiently. To check these fluids, most vehicles include fluid level indicators, more commonly known as dipsticks.
Orscheln manufactures dipstick assembly systems for engine oil, coolant, and hydraulic fluid throughout your defense vehicle. Our complete dipstick units include the fluid indicator, outer tube, and a locking cap.
Transmission fluid also depletes over time, so it’s important to check your fluid levels with a transmission dipstick. We can custom-bend our dipstick assemblies around your vehicle’s engine so it’s easy to install your new components.
You can even select custom indicator markings and design so you can read accurate, consistent measurements with your dipstick.
Many vehicles use suspended pedals for their throttle control systems. Unlike floor-mounted pedals, these pedals are connected to your throttle system along the front of the cab, freeing up floor space in the driver’s seat.
Our suspended pedals are lightweight yet durable, with an all-polymer design. You can always choose a steel-based design if you’d rather have a more durable construction.
We’re proud to be a global leader for aftermarket customers looking for floor-mounted throttle pedals as well as suspended alternatives. Our floor-mounted pedals deliver an electrical signal to your fuel management system.
We can customize this signal to varying sensitivities to help your vehicle respond exactly how it should. You can also adjust the resistance and angle for any of our pedals.
If you need a mechanical shift control for your automatic transmission aftermarket defense vehicle, Orscheln is here for you! We make both individual shifter units and complete assemblies.
Our team also offers transmission kits and mounting towers if you need some additional military vehicle parts to install your new shifter.
No cause for alarm if your vehicle has an electronic shift system—Orscheln builds these parts, too! We’ve designed a line of push-button electronic shifters that include a visual display readout to show diagnostic information about your vehicle.
We can customize this equipment with special programs and capabilities if needed, so just let us know what services you’re looking for.
