Orscheln Products has experienced sales, engineering, quality, customer service and manufacturing resources dedicated to the design and production of aircraft and military controls. Our highly skilled professionals build these control cables in a dedicated manufacturing cell. The applications for these cables call for precise tolerances, plus low slide forces and backlash. From initial design through prototype, certification, and production, we stand ready with an experienced staff to help with all your needs. Qualification testing is available through both our in-house facility and the use of outside certified laboratories.
Orscheln Products has extensive experience working with FAA-PMA assemblies, as well as completing FAA and Company conformities. We have cable constructions that meet the requirements of FAR 23.1141 (2000°F flame test) and FAR 25.853 (vertical and horizontal burn tests), as well as experience completing development programs and validating them to MIL-STD-810 and RTCA DO-160.

Years of Experience
Aircraft control cables were added to our product offering in 1998 with the acquisition of Acco Industrial Controls. Through this acquisition Orscheln Products gained aircraft cable manufacturing expertise that dates back to the late 1930’s. Since this time, our product line has been expanded and diversified to include the latest technological advances and materials.
