Committed to Quality Since 1946
Orscheln Products is the leading global supplier of motion control systems. Our products keep your vehicles running smoothly.
Jeeps, humvees, and other light utility vehicles all rely on cables and control components to run properly—and the manufacturers of these vehicles rely on Orscheln to supply this hardware.
We’ve designed and built military truck parts for decades, and we bring quality and dependability to everything we build.
How We Help
We work directly with OEMs and vehicle manufacturers to supply them with stock and customized controls components.
We are fully certified under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which enables us to provide any of our military truck parts to defense contractors.
Virtually every light utility vehicle depends on an array of mechanical cables to control many necessary systems. Our military-grade cables are made out of the most resilient materials to allow for reliable operation and protection in any operating environment.
Orscheln makes cables in a range of configurations, such as push-pull, T-handle, control head, valve control, throttle, tension, and vernier to supply you with the best variety for your needs.
Orscheln got our start as a resource for park brake systems, and we’ve continually innovated our park brake designs over the last 80 years. Today we’re a trusted global supplier for park brake cables because of our proven track record of dependability.
Not sure which military truck parts or park brake cables you need for your project? Check out our Build My Park Brake tool, where you can input the information about your vehicle and receive personalized suggestions for your cables!
We design and build every component for military park brake systems, including the levers themselves. Orscheln supplies both individual park brake levers and pre-assembled park brake units to offer the best versatility for our clients.
We build park brake levers for hand operation or foot pedals, depending on the type of military truck parts you’re looking for.
Orscheln also designs fluid level indicators, more commonly known as dipsticks. We’ve designed both the Push 2 Seal and Twist2Lock lines of dipstick assemblies to give you flexible options to measure your fluid levels.
Our dipsticks are manufactured as complete assemblies with accuracy in mind. We calibrate each dipstick to the tube when assembled to provide accurate, repeatable readings for your vehicles’ engine fluids.
Our transmission dipsticks use the same innovative assemblies as our other fluid level indicators, but we’ve adapted them for use with transmission systems. We can further shape your dipstick tube for easy integration into any utility vehicle configuration.
Orscheln will also customize the indicator style, cap color, and markings for your dipstick to provide personalized identifiers for your line of vehicles.
Orscheln also offers comprehensive service for electronic throttle controls with our range of suspended throttle pedals. We’ve designed our pedals to be smooth and responsive in any conditions to best protect utility vehicles deployed around the world.
All of our pedals deliver a customizable electronic signal to the fuel management system to make your vehicles easy and intuitive to drive.
You can also order our high-quality pedals in a floor-mounted configuration. These pedals carry the same customization potential so you can easily adapt them to any electronic throttle system.
All of our pedals and other military truck parts undergo 100% end-of-line testing to ensure their functionality and reliability before being shipped to our customers.
There are countless varieties of shift control systems out there, but Orscheln is proud to offer custom shift solutions for light utility vehicles with mechanical shift systems. We offer several distinct styles of mechanical shifters, but we can further customize our products based on the requirements for your project.
We design flexible shifters for many different applications, including transfer case, F-N-R, H-L, Up-Down, 5th wheel, fast/slow, and friction throttle control.
Some utility vehicles rely on an electronic shift system, rather than using mechanical control cables. We’ve designed a reliable line of push-button shift selectors for these vehicles.
With an electronic system, we’ll work closely with you to develop sensors and PCB software catered to the unique designs of your vehicles.
