Our electronic shift actuator systems are designed for Electro-Mechanical transmissions to provide a shift-by-wire system that operates over CAN J1939. The electronic shift actuator systems can be programmed to communicate with the TCM to provide diagnostic feedback, and also allow for bump shifting in applications where needed. Orscheln Products’ electronic shift actuator system is composed of two parts: the motor controller and the push-button shift selector. To provide for ease of installing the motor controller, DC power and digital communications signal are the only wires which must be connected. The 3″ linear shaft output can be set-up for either direct mount or remote connection via a control cable. This motor controller then speaks directly to the push-button shift selector, which offers versatile solutions for electronic shift control requirements, and comes with different options for on button labeling and configuration.
