Orscheln Products Manufactures Complete Electronic Shift Actuator Systems

Orscheln Products manufactures a line of complete electronic shift actuator systems which is designed for electro-mechanical transmissions (e.g. Allison® 1000/2000 Series) to provide a shift-by-wire system that operates over J1939 CAN communication. These systems can be programmed to communicate with the TCM to provide diagnostic feedback and can provide bump shifting in applications where needed.

Orscheln’s complete electronic shift actuator systems are comprised of two main components: the electric motor actuator and the push button shift selector. The electric motor actuator features an integrated motor controller and can be located most anywhere due to a heavy-duty design and sealed enclosure. The push button shift selector features a programmable PCB and interchangeable button labels and bezel configurations to allow it to meet many customers’ requirements.
