Orscheln Products offers Felsted™ Electronic Vernier (EV2) controls that are designed to allow capability with most electronically-controlled diesel engines and can provide variable engine speed adjustment on electronically controlled stationary engines, or from a remote position on mobile equipment. Orscheln’s Felsted™ Electronic Vernier (EV2) controls feature a large (2-1/4”) diameter knob that is designed to be easily identified and can provide continuous engine speed regulation from idle to wide open throttle in seven full turns. The electronic vernier (EV2) controls offer a quick shut-down feature that is designed to be activated by pushing in the knob, along with an adjustable friction collar that can help prevent accidental changes in engine speed. If Orscheln’s standard electronic vernier (EV2) controls do not meet a customer’s requirements, a ¼ turn design configuration is also available.
