Electronic Smart Actuators for Buses

Orscheln Products manufactures electronic shift actuator systems for a range of heavy-duty applications involving buses, trucks, construction equipment, farm equipment, military vehicles, and more. These electronic shift actuator systems are composed of two key parts: the push button shift selectors and electronic smart actuators.

Orscheln Products’ electronic smart actuators for buses feature an integrated motor controller, with J1939 CAN communication capabilities, designed to facilitate communication between the actuator and shift selector. The electronic smart actuators for buses are designed to be “high output,” which helps the actuator supply an output force up to 150 pounds, or sufficient strength to pull out of park position at various temperature extremes.

Additionally, Orscheln’s electronic smart actuators for buses can be set up for direct mount or remote connection and feature a sealed design to help protect its internal components.
