Orscheln’s ESAS is designed to deliver a shift-by-wire system that can operate over CAN J1939 for transmissions with a mechanical interface. It contains a high-output actuator motor that is designed to supply ample strength to pull heavy duty vehicles out of park position at high, or low, temperature extremes. Orscheln Products produces an ESAS that can be programmed to provide diagnostic feedback by communicating with the TCM. It also provides for bump shifting as needed for specific applications.
