This system is designed for transmissions with a mechanical interface, such as Allison™ 1000/2000 series and operates over CAN J1939 communication via a shift-by-wire system. Orscheln’s complete electronic shift actuator systems are available in a variety of configurations, with options in button labeling and interchangeable bezel configurations. The actuator systems can be programmed to communicate with the TCM, and are designed to provide diagnostic feedback. The motor actuator features a linear shift output, meaning that the complete electronic shift actuator system can be set up for either a direct or remote connection.
