Orscheln Products has impacted the global market since 1930. The family business began with Ed and William Orscheln. The local family business immediately grew when a problem arose in 1938. A traveling truck driver came into their local trucking business complaining about a broken parking brake. William’s instincts were to quickly help and solve their customer’s issue.
He immediately sketched out a plan to fix the parking brake by designing a new, sturdy brake. He built it in-house and installed it right then and there on the truck headed to St.Louis. A small family business that once started over a center parking brake, grew to serve a global market.
Orscheln has grown and strengthened their core values since their first customer more than 70 years ago. They refuse to sacrifice quality for profit, ensuring that careful time and precision is focused on its products.
